Michał Prószyński

Michał Prószyński, born on August 1, 1992, in Poland, is a tenor with a rich operatic repertoire and a strong stage presence. He completed his musical studies at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Guitar. He then pursued further education at the University of Music, Drama, and Media in Hanover, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Opera Singing under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Marek Rzepka.

Michał has extensive stage experience, including performances with renowned opera ensembles and music festivals worldwide. In the 2021/22 season, he joined the opera ensemble in Bern, Switzerland, where he found success as a member of the ensemble. In 2021, he made his debut at the Schlossfestspiele Ettlingen festival in Germany as Alfred in Johann Strauss’s opera “Die Fledermaus.” The following year, he debuted at the prestigious Verbier Festival in Switzerland as the Witch in Engelbert Humperdinck’s opera “Hansel and Gretel.” Additionally, he has had the opportunity to perform with esteemed orchestras such as the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, the Bern Symphony Orchestra, and the National Philharmonic Orchestra. His operatic repertoire includes roles such as Pelleas, Tamino, Mime, and Lensky, among others.

Michał has also had the pleasure of collaborating with renowned conductors such as Gianandrea Noseda and Yoel Gamzou, as well as with many orchestras, including the Bern Symphony Orchestra and the National Philharmonic Orchestra. His exceptional vocal talent and stage presence have earned him recognition both domestically and internationally.
